"fully sanctioned" by immigration Jakarta, but is still a shambles.
The new arrivals process was "soft launched" and sample trialled (for what it was worth) over a few days to try to bed it in.
Why would the VIP services not be the same??
They have also been working to mesh with the new process, and I see nothing suspicious in that at all.
I am advised that at least one of the service providers was providing express arrivals last night, and I am sure that all the official observers and supervisors are still there as the new system is still being tuned.
Large Australian corporations who also provide this service to the travelling public, would not be involved in "corrupt " or "illegal" services that could see their clients in some trouble, and leave themselves exposed to litigation in Australia down the track.
VIP services are not illegal or corrupt, but do operate under strict sanction and supervision of Indonesian Immigration Authorities.
