alone to Bali I would not hesitate to stay here. It is so safe and the pools are beautiful and our room is about 10 steps to the pool. All the rooms are close enough though. There is a great (but expensive) restaurant LAMAK right out in front of resort so you can eat there if you wanted to stay close at night or the resort restaurant or room service.
We have been having a coffee or hot chocolate at Lamak in the evenings before we go to bed - its great to just walk out the back door of the restaurant and straight into our resort entrance.
You wont be disappointed if you stay here.
