I saw 'party animals' in the old wing last January too.
On the way to breakfast each morning, we witnessed the ground floor verandah's consistently strewn with multiple empty bintang bottles, glasses & overflowing ashtrays. Often curtains open & 'dead bodies' on beds late into the day too.
We were glad we were in H block, facing the front & away from the noise of the occupants.
It may be luck of the draw as to who is there when....
(Not somewhere I would choose to stay again).
