but normally just stop for the occasional club sandwich during the day.
The cold towel on arrival is always a welcomed touch.
Can't comment on evening meals, and have never checked passports to find out the nationality of others who may be there (surely not an issue??)
However, I am always concerned when complaints such as this are personalised by the use of an individuals name, especially as their right of reply is restricted on this forum.
As for a "terrible experience", because some pastry may not have been cooked and some pineapple pieces did not meet international sizing conventions, perhaps this is something of an overstatement.
The response of the owner or staff member to the complaint may have touched a nerve with you, but not charging for the meal was certainly a reasonable response.
To be honest, if having a pizza served that you did not like was a "terrible experience" I hope that you do not experience any of the real horror food stories that can occur, sometimes culminating in days of sickness, as this would be a "horrendous experience".
Anyway, you can exercise your right of choice to not go back there and for you that is the end of the matter.
For the person named however, it is not so easy to wipe the slate clean.
