Wow. I'm in Bali now for about the 5th time over 25 years.
BUT The Imigration Staff at the airport, what a joke, inefficient & useless. Standing 2 hours in a queue after a long flight late at night. That seems to be typical now.
There were lots of familys with very tired kids being put throught the ordeal of the Visa on Arrival.
Its a joke
- The imigration staff don't even check anything
- Just a VERY Slow "stamp" "stamp" "stamp"
- So all that for nothing, just to keep useless government officials in a job, so it seems
I don't think the Indonesian goverment want's Tourists to come any more.
It was a very very bad 1st impression of Bali.
At lot of scams (English time share sales people too), still managed to wake up to them very early - DO NOT go into any "free promotions" "visitor questionairs" even if "official govenerment" etc etc.
