knew exactly how disgusted we were at the conditon of the premises & came up with 101 excuses.Oh boo hoo, feel sorry for me even though you have been blantantly lied to & conned.Woe is me,my manager ran off with my some of my money & stole things.I really just don't care,I don't want to know,it's none of my business - it is HER business.Everyone in business gets screwed at sometime but the people you deal with & make money from should not suffer as result. We paid for a property of a certain standard & ith certain features/facilities included & we did not get what we had paid for-That is the plain & simple fact.
Finally on the late afternoon of Day 4 the owner came to see us - after I had sent her 9 emails asking for things to be fixed without any reply. We were given nothing but empty promises that everything would be fixed quickly but this was on day 4 of 7. Some of the minor things were fixed but none of he major things.I felt sorry for the staff,it was obvious that they were uncomfortable & embarrased over the situation & they continually apologised but they were not the ones responsible for the condition of the property. If any landlords in Australia had a rental or even a holiday property in this condition there would be serious consquences.
5 out of 7 days we had a green pool & the last 2 days had a cloudy/murky pool.My husband even had to back wash the pool filter himself because the pool man had "forgotten" to turn up.We were even asked on Day 5 to stay home all day by the pool man because the pool had to be filled up & he didn't want to come back to check on things.Gee - who was being paid as an employee & who was a paid guest ?
