I had been warned by a couple of friends
that the gas station on Jalan Sunset (at the intesection),
next to Bali Deli was not filling up
the full amount of petrol/money requested.
So when I pulled up, they first asked me to move my car forward dispite the fact that the opening to my tank
was facing right towards the gas pump nozzle.
I refused...so that I could remain infront of the meter
and watch the going ons.
I asked for 50,000 Rp and they started pumping.
I took my eyes away from the pump, since my phone rang...
and when I looked up, the guy was already stopping the pump
at 36,700 RP....strange amount where to stop....
I didn't give him time to erase the toal amount he put into my tank
when I was a;lready taking my camera out to doucment the happenings.
I told him that I know what he was doing
and tried take pictures of him.
He tried to avoid my catching the image of his face,
but after several attenpts I managed to.
I did go to the police to report him/them,
for what ever good that may bring...
but not really expecting much from it.
Be careful when filling up your tank.
And if possible, avoid or be even more attentive
at the Pertamina gas station next to Bali Deli on Jalan Sunset.
