At least you got some compensation and by the sounds of it the main problem was caused by a stuff up with email addresses. As a regular traveller I know that changes are made and that airlines do make mistakes but judging from my experience and the other posts on this topic, Pacific Blue has been very cavalier with peoples' holiday plans, grossly inefficient in its notification to customers about these changes and certainly not willing to compensate passengers.
