The food in Vietnam is incomparable - French cooking, especially in the Ha Noi area is wonderful. We had the best food there - much better than in Bali by a mile. The people are extremely friendly - but they are very reserved and not in your face so it takes time to know them. The lacquer ware is simply stunning.
