in Lombok the power is out several times a week for hours at a time and we have never had a problem with the Fridge. You do need to unplug some items that may be effected by surges when it come back on, like phones charging, laptops and dvd players but the fridges seem ok. The power supply in Bali is great in comparison to Lombok.
