Have you had a look at "The Beach house" not far from the Irish pub,they have some expensive as well as cheaper room options.
The cheaper trip with Perama tour's is only 300,000IDR each way,coach leaves Kuta 10am arrives Pedang Bai 1pm slow boat arrives Trawangan at around 6.30pm,so its a lot slower than the 2.5 hour fast boat!
I think the Tri Na Nog has its party night on a wednesday night.
The only problem with the fast boats from Benoa is they leave a bit early at 8.am,I think Blue Water safari fast boats now have a boat that leaves later but goes via Lembongan island.
