A "tip" given before the service is provided may enhance the quality of the services during your stay.
There are many different ways of paying tips, but we prefer to give personally to whoever we want to show our appreciation to.
Normally this is done quietly and on a personal basis so the receiver has the choice of what to do with the gratuity (May be beginning, middle or end....or a mix of all).
I do not like the concept of leaving cash around to be collected by whoever.
Of course, your appreciation can also be shown in other ways, and locally purchased or imported gifts are also well received.
The amount you may wish to give is entirely up to you and every one differs in this respect.
If you consider that you are receiving "special" treatment, you may wish to up the ante.
Do consider small personalised gifts.....you will certainly be remembered next time you stay.
