If so most people i have spoken to ended up forking out the extra for the fast boat back!
We were going to do the Perama tour bus/slower boat from Bali which is around 300000 IDR,but given the time you arrive on Trawangan is after 6.30pm We may opt for the fastboat both ways!
The price of the fastboat from Pedang Bai is the same as from Benoa!
The ferries look a bit dodgy from what i see in Lombok in feb and its quite a journy plus the hassle of getting from the port to where the boats leave for the gilis.
