I think you do and see more if you plan your holiday. Particularly if your a small group and some want to do this or see that. We generally don't plan much anymore because we have done most things we want to, but saying that we are taking Bali virgins in June and will be planning our days to try and show them as much as possible, with every other day being a down day. My daughter is not a planner and often comes home wishing she had done more site-seeing, as she has spent way too much time in the shops. Enjoy you trip.
