when we arrived on 6th feb, we used the Bali Concierge, absolutely brilliant!
There were two of them with signs with our names, waiting at the bottom of the escalator, took us into a little lounge just off to the right of the escalator, offered us drinks, and cakes, took our money and off they went.
Think they were gone for maybe 15mins and then they were back, let us finish our drinks, escorted us outside through the immigration line where the expats line up, nobody looked sideways at us as we exited straight through....the xray machines are now gone, the ones after immigration, so they just took us straight to our bags that were there waiting for us, and then they escorted us straight through customs, no search of our bags to detect the 40 sausages and bbq chicken that we had brought in, hahaha, I KNOW, long story!!!
Asked us if we needed a car which we didnt, but it was all oh so smooth, and delightful, and, even though the voa wasnt THAT busy, we still made it out ahead of all on our plane, but the best bit, for me, was going straight through customs, as Im diabetic and carry syringes, rather than a pen, so am ALWAYS stopped by the fella's to go through my luggage, fair enough, but after living there, it became a bit of a pain, knowing i would always have to open my luggage, and not being the overly chatty type, couldnt be bothered to come to some "arrangement" with any of them for future encounters!!!
So yes, definitely recommend the concierge at the airport thing, and please dont go on about it, its my opinion, I love it and would use it again and again, who cares, who is making what money out of it, or how many people are advertising it, its a great service and one I intend to keep using, well thats if i can ever afford to get back there!!!!
