Ok, here's the story. Lina is Javanese living in Bali. She has been approved to migrate to Australia after she has the police check. This is all that's stopping her migration. And you may have seen that I am trying to avoid the Uang Fiskal.

As she doesn't have a Bali ID card they would not do the police check there.

So, she went to her home town to get it but her area office, head area office and the police kepy putting blocks and checks in the way demanding money all the time. Finally they told her to go to an agent of company.

After spending 2 weeks in Bali and 3 weeks in Java she is both frustrated and disappointed with the Indonesian officials.
She has had to return to Bali before they throw her out of her room and repossessed her motorbike.

That's why we need an agent.

And, no, charliebear, nothing under the counter. She just went to the office and asked for an application for the police check for visa reasons as recommended by the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.

The embassy seems to think it should be easy! I think freogirl hit the nail on the head, sadly.

It's really sad when Indonesians do this to their own people.

Cheers
