oh one of the rabid ones. By your admin. They were fully informed by Peel Zoo of the situation. It no doubt suited their purpose not to make it public. Because they were proven so wrong :)
So here are the facts:
At that time some of the animals at Bali Zoo were suffering very bad neglect..
Tony, Peel Zoo, felt it was a matter of urgency that i report what was happening on the BCF forum, in the hope you would apply pressure on Bali Zoo. Of course not one of you did, too busy attacking me.
Tony did not want me to say where my information was coming from, because he needed to work with Bali Zoo to change things for the animals. As i have said, i agreed to it.
The information i gave was coming from him, and fully recorded on video.
I can understand the confusion some posters would have felt and why they said to "allow Tony to handle the situation." when you didn't know directions were coming to me from Tony. All we could hope for was that you knew me well enough to know that i'd never report animal neglect about a business in Bali without being certain of my facts. But as it turned out, you didn't know me that well. You still don't :)
Result:
It was only after Bali Zoo saw my posts on BCF that they decided to follow Tony's recommendations for further improvements.
They had followed Tony's suggestions in the past, and as a direct result, the zoo didn't need to be sold. Unfortunately when things improved, they'd stopped listening.
Even thought the people on BCF couldn't hear me, Putu did.
Fed up with what was being said to me on BCF Tony joined BCF and posted about what had happened. The attacks on me continued.
The owner of Bali Zoo and Tony have personally thanked me for caring and trying to change things for the better. They know i am not a fan of zoos but they appreciated that i cared.
Putu, the owner, became a member of my website. He wanted to put a plaque up at the zoo thanking me for the miniscule bit of support i'd given. It helped to make his zoo a better place for the animals, and a place more tourists would want to visit.
I honestly don't care what your thoughts are about me, "sweet" sue.
I care about how the animals are managing at Bali Zoo, and for people who like zoos, it's a fine and decent zoo.
