i'm concerned...kuta paradiso?

Hi all,

Been to Bali twice before and stayed at the Niksoma. This time however, I am staying with friends at the Kuta Paradiso; not by choice as I would like to be at the Niksoma but for satefy reasons as I am a young female not wanting to stay alone.

I am really funny about staying in hotels...I like to stay at really nice hotels and my experiences at the Niksoma have been fabulous and I felt safe and like it was a second home.

I am concerned that the reviews im reading online about the Kuta Paradiso have been pretty negative and my friends keep insisting that it is a 5 star hotel.

What are your experiences if anyone has been there??? Would be much appreciated.
