Walking sandals in Oz

Still 10 weeks to go, but am beginning to think about Bali footwear. Especially stuff to walk around in for hours either shopping, or that 7k beach walk at Sanur. Have had and dont like tevas, but I am think along these lines. Open to any suggestions of any really comfy footwear, besides thongs!!!
