Hi there, we were there last week, our 4th trip to Bali and first time driving. We borrowed a GPS from a friend that lives in Bali and had no problems with it at all, it was great being able to stop at any time you saw something of interest. On the other hand I am glad hubby had the courage to drive as I don't think I could have. But I would say give it a go for sure. Goodluck
