Which hotel in Legian?

I am travelling to Bali in June with 3 teenage kids all under 18. Stayed at Legian Beach Hotel many years ago without kids and it was lovely. Someone also suggested Bali Mandira or Padma. We want something right on the beach and would obviously have to book 2 rooms / cottages. Would also consider Seminyak. Any suggestions?
