If you have correctly-packed alcohol in your baggage and it does not infringe the Immigration requirements of the Country to which you are travelling, it should be of NO interest to local "authorities" no matter who employs them!
Stand your ground and insist that if your alcohol is within prescribed limits and is adequately sealed, insist that they close your suitcase immediately - or have their Supervisor handle the situation. I am sure they will back-off quickly.
