You know where we stayed when we were there but the Holiday villas as mentioned in the above post is nice. My parents swear by it and have stayed there 3 times. It's much neared to the town (Kuah) then where we stayed. Last time they booked thru Wotif but this time they found it cheaper thru a travel agent.
Me personally prefer to stay out of town and just chill out. Dont forget to hire a scooter while you are there as you can travel the island in a day. Dont forget to do the chair lift it is a must. Views are fantastic.
