A few weeks ago several posters on BTF were applauding the down grading of security for carry on luggage at Australian terminals.

One poster was claiming that he/she was sick and tired of standing in queue and being held up by security searches for minor things such as nail files etc.

I think it is wrong, and don't mind how much security I have to go through to have a safe flight, so I would just like to draw their attention the recent attempted terrorist attack on Delta Airlines in the US.

Terrorism is alive and well and I applaud the recent increase in security at the outbound terminal at Denpasar airport (up to 4 checks), perhaps the Australian terminals should consider increasing their outbound security to Denpasar standards instead of decreasing it.

The attack on Delta Airlines should be a wake up call for them, in fact they should not be asleep in the first place.

For the politically correct socialists, how dare the US government charge the terrorist, he should have the right to do what ever he wants, when he wants. Yeah right!!!
