I did a google to see if you might be eligible for compensation from Jetstar but they seem to have covered themselves well.
Saw heaps of posts from people who have had their flights cancelled, and with one exception, all complained about the couldn't care less Jetstar response
The one exception who got a free overnight hotel stay and food vouchers made me wonder if he/she was talking about the same airline.
Might get what we pay for but i've read reports about other airlines, who are as cheap, compensating travellers with overnight hotel stays, even return flights, when there have been cancelled flights.
After what i just read about Jetstar i think i''ll avoid flying with them if i can :)
