... work out how much you would be happy to pay for the item in Aussie dollars, convert to rupiah and then don't go over that. Don't worry about if you're getting a better or worse deal than the next person, as long as you're happy to pay that price who cares if someone else got it a little bit cheaper. I find this is the best way to keep your head whilst bargaining.
