After going through the scanner the bag was opened and a customs guy wanted to take the alcohol from the suitcase. A small amount had been taken from each of the bottles, same as you. It wasn't a serious challenge I thought; more of a "is this for me?". I just stood my ground and said no.
If a serious case of intimidation was to occur I like what Putu Les has said in asking for the Chief Officer on duty. I would also get the name and rank of the customs officer trying to intimidate as he also suggested. In fact, as I go through in a couple of weeks I'm going to have a small note book on hand with the tourist police number written in clear view as well.
