A workmate of my partners had returned from Bali not long ago and had her bank call her to tell her of unusual transactions being made on her bankcard and asked if she was still in Indonesia as that is where the transactions were being made ... Of course she was not and had her card stopped immediately and funds returned once
she confirmed she was back home.
She was using ATM machines around Kuta with her Commonwealth Card and it looks like a "skimming device" was used to get her details..
So please everyone check the slots of ATM's carefully before you put your card in, if it looks dodgy and has loose or extra parts DON'T use it and alert the bank....
