in Bali. Most be a religious service of a religion recognised on Indonesia. There are actually 2 ceremonies that have to be carried out.A lot has been posted regarding this recently so for more detailed explanations, I suggest a recent search of the archives.
Once in Bali you also have to go to the Australian consulate and obtain a certificate of no impediment. So for spur of the moment - let's get married - no I don't believe it's possible. I can say that it is possible to do it, including using a wedding planner, for a few thousand Aust dollars.
I got married in Bali in May this year and would highly recommend it to anyone.
