As far as visas go, there are no advantages for short stays.

If you are looking at living there, you can get a temporary stay visa (ikut suami) which is available to the spouse of an Indonesian citizen which allows you to stay for 12 months. But then you have to pay the dreaded fiskal.

When you are first married, you can chose to become an Indonesian citizen within the 1st 12 months of married and it is a very easy process - unlike citizenship normally, which is costly and drawn out. The down side of that is you have to give up your current citizenship, which is not a good thing for most.

Other than that, there is really no difference being married to an Indonesian, it doesn't give you the right to live in Indonesia or any other advantages over any other non-Indonesian.
