I rang qantas as I had a flight time change notification and asked about seat requests he said as we were using qantas ff points and it was a jetstar flight there were no guarantees that our seat requests would be honoured . He just told us to be early at the airport for checking in. I've flown jetstar out of Perth & they were weighing everyone's hand luggage in Jan to Sing I think it has a lot to do with how full the plane is. They were making people take things out & put stuff in their checked in luggage if they were too heavy. We made the kids hang back with the hand luggage and the girl got distracted and forgot to weigh ours. Then when we went thru the immigtation door the guy there noticed our two wheel ons didn't have the jetstar tags on so he weighed them. We were ok. On the way home the jetstar staff in Sing were weighing everything. In Jan it will be our first time flying to Bali with jetstar so I'd like to know how you go with the weight of your bags we always seem to go over on the way back from Bali.
