Archie (our son) loved everything about Bali, the people, the water etc.
We had a great day at the Safari Park together which would be great for your 5yr old and the adults too.
Monkey Forest was another great place that our son loved.
Mostly just the beach, the sand the pools etc. You will be amazed at how much fun kids can have just watching the Geekos running around, or looking at fish in the ponds everywhere.
