The drunkest but Best holiday ever .NO KIDS (part 1)
Well as ya say the nail polish was chipped, the Bali handbags were all starting to break, so after being home for 8 months time to get back to Bali. Left Perth on Sept 17th 6.40 pm Garuda flight.Well it has been a long time since hubby and I have been on our own (bout 20 years). So excited, for once in my life I was running early!!! Arrived at the airport very early. Straight thru to the departure lounge, then noticed a bottle of perfume at the duty free shop I had been looking every where for. Yippee smelling like a princess already, in my new Calvin Klein Euphoria. We thought we better have something to eat while waiting for the plane, I thought the food was the same as down stairs, WRONG! Eagle Boys was all that looked ok.Oh well that bar looks alright! So I ordered a strongbow for me (or 5), A Ted for hubby (or 5) hubby is very quite does not really drink, but we were so relaxed without kids (got 4 teenaged Kids) we got pi$$ed waiting for the plane!
The plane was just like any plane got us there in one piece, food and drinkies free, you beauty! God I was feeling even better, NO KIDS still, the plane landed early, got on the bus over to the terminal, I felt like a real smart @rse I said to hubby quick quick, we payed our VOA then run to the next line, we were out within 15 minutes, waited for our bags, then got in the line for the taxi outside to our hotel The Puri Raja, 55, 000 rp,But I don't think the drivers wanted our cheap fair ,but too bad we were next! I have never stayed in Legian before so I was lost going to the hotel. I had seen photos of the hotel, it looked just like every other hotel, but wrong it was lovely, As requested we had a ground floor room 117 not to far from the pool, The room was clean, fresh and just perfect for us. All I wanted to do was see the KP as we are staying there in January 2010. So within half hour I was asking for directions there, we walked outside along the beach and found it, I walked thru it at 11 pm mind you. I asked a bell boy were the presidential suite was, WOW we are staying in a palace in January I said to hubby. We went for a walk around, called in got some bug spray, and went back to the hotel.
Wakey Wakey next day still no kids!!! We slept in till 9am, and then went for breakfast, anything ya wanted on the menu, bloody yummy! How good was this sitting overlooking the beach? What a life!
After $hit showers and shave, it was off to get hubby a hair cut Straight to Johnny Andrean at Centro 42.000rp ,I had the best pedicure I have ever had in Bali 60.000rp with flower art. Love that shopping centre spent hours there, Then over to Bubba Gumps,I know expensive but lovely,Yep Straight in to the cocktails..This was the start of my very drunk holiday... more to come later
