Part 2. The Food Grog and entertainment.

My favourite part of Bali.

We tried most of the restaurants I wanted to. Still a few left to try.
Food
Probably the nicest food I have ever had in Bali was Yutz Place, Hubby raved about the Steak I raved bout the mashed spuds, fish and vegies. Quite cheap too.
Don't shoot me the only restaurant I was really disappointed with was Poppies, I loved the romantic side of it, but we were not wrapped in the food and quite expensive, could have just been us though.
Other places we went to and really loved were, Bali beach shack, Legends, Sheppys, Uncle Norms,Billys,Bubba Gump's, La Casa, Blue Sykz ,Wayan and friends, A cafe facing the beach at Centro was lovely, and cheap I would recommend any of these places when you have a large family as all well priced
Places that were just OK were La Monde but I did not really look at the menu very well, what we had was OK, but not what I thought.
I think the stadium is way over rated and overpriced and average.
Grog and Entertainment.
Only my opinion the best entertainment in Bali is the Bali Beach Shack, The drag shows are awesome, it is just one big party, I am 50 next month and I thought it catered for all age groups. I was very drunk one night and the lovely little bar man and owners were quite worried about me getting home, So on the back of the bar mans scooter I go, (dunno how I did not fall off).Legends do a great nights entertainment as well, As do Blue Skyz, but ya gotta book these places otherwise ya won't get in. Watched the AFL grand final at Legends and BBS. Awesome atmosphere at both.
Cocktails and gee there were hundreds.
I love pink and purple, so the nicest cocktail I had was at La Casa called a pink lady I got so drunk so quick on these cocktails I could not even hold my knife and fork. At 32.000RP a drink I was there for the night. Poor hubby had to help me stagger back to the hotel; I searched every bar in Bali for another cocktail called Pink Lady but could not find one. I had cocktails at every restaurant we went to, But the night of nights was a Friday night we started out doing the Bali Hai Sunset cruise, hubby was sick then so after the cruise this mad nearly 50 year old got dropped off at Legends for the show, I ordered a Plucka Duck cocktail, oh boy how strong were these. The drink came out in a bloody rubby ducky thing. I had 5. Oh I won the sculling comp at the blue Skyz the night before, had another go at Legends, Yep won that as well, but I think they got it wrong, but I took the title any way. I loved the drag shows at BBS shack so at 10.15pm straight next door to the BBS,oh god I have no idea what I was drinking there, I think cocktails called drag queen and some orgasm one. I had a ball danced all night, plus I probably gave a few people the $hits, but I was having a ball.BBS is a must for people wanting a great night in Bali, I am even allowing my 4 children to go to BBS in January, As said before the lovely little Ally from BBS took me home on the back of his scooter. I was having a tattoo next day so I had to be good,as I heard it was dangerous to have tattoos drunk.
