I think you will find that the price you are being quoted is a superior room. I have been dealing with Pony at BGH for quite a few bookings for family and friends for the past 12 months, and am sure it is not a scam. They had some problems six months or so ago with travel agents (and their office staff I'm sure) overselling deluxe rooms, which meant there weren't enough rooms when people arrived. THey will now only quote superior rooms, and will only offer deluxe if they have them when you arrive.....
There is no difference between the deluxe and superior rooms, it is purely location. Deluxe overlooks the garden, superior overlooks the main road. And you get a kettle in deluxe!!!
