Just back from Bali. Stayed at the PR for 3 weeks. The demograhic is mixed. There were families, honeymooners, retirees, 40 somethings like me and young couples with their surfboards. There were no loud boozing Aussies, there were your lounge hogs ( it seems they are everywhere). The pool with the pool bar can get rowdy at times, but it was generally the kids enjoying themselves. If you want a lounge and a quieter existence use the pool at the Padma Utara end. I dubbed it the Pensioners Pool for its ambience and the kids seemed to not frequent there. The staff are lovely, grounds are clean and lush, it's close to the beach and if you need supplies the shops are nearby. If you feel like a bintang there is the Corner Bar about 50 metres outside the entrance (turn left as you exit the PR). In precis I can certainly recommend it.
