the cane mite way back in the 80s when every bar in Bali had cane bar stools, the sensation you would be feeling would be severe burning not itching. And you would have huge puffy welts all over the parts of your body that came in contact with the cane. You would be unlikely to have them in your hair. A jab of phenergan and then tablets for a few days will fix the burning but will leave you will 100s of pinhead sized scabs which are the actual bites.
