..i kinda liked Benoa...but it was the first place i stayed on first trip to Bali..and i guess we did taxi into Legian every day...but i kinda like the sleepy little shops across the road from the hotels....nice mellow intro to Bali..shop keepers very friendly. There were some great restaurants there too...and not too expensive really. Not sure I'd have enough reason to go bakc there but if i did i'd enjoy it ( for 2 days anyway)...the hotel pools are all pretty good.
