be bored silly in Nusa Dua, it's definetley more an upmarket place, huge resorts lining the ocean front in massive landscaped gardens, miles apart from each other, security to the max. Travel 10 minutes in a taxi to Tanjung Benoa or 20 minutes into Kuta/Legian/Seminyak. Tanjung Benoa is watersports heaven but thats about it. Yes there are many restaurants along one side of the streeet, hotels being the beach side but a lot more pricey than Kuta. That part of Bali is definetley for the chill out by the pool in the resort type of person. Many Japanese go to Nusa Dua and do not leave the resort they check into unless taken on a bus to specific places/tours. Saying all that the resorts are beautiful and you could spend a day just looking though all the hotels.
