Jayakarta Qs

OK, thanks to suggestions on here, I'm thinking about an apartment at the Jayakarta for next year.

Can anyone tell me whether the Club Bali Residence apartments are privately owned or part of the hotel?

Also, do you think the pool would be OK with small kids. Does it get any shade and are there likely to be other kids staying there? Is it really too far to walk to the pool from the apartment?
