Hi, my experience is some desk staff(at melbourne) worry about size and some others checking you in don't even look at the size of board. It is a 7'board and was once was told it couldn't go, but pleaded it had never been a problem before and it fitted in the metal cage they pack them in to,and all was then ok. the size has never been an issue at denpasar airport.
