Jetstar surfboards <1.9m... how strict??

Hi,
I read the fine print and Jetstar say they won't accept surfboards longer than 1.9m ~ 6'3 ft.

Does anyone know how strict they are on this?

I saw the huge swell this week and wonder how you're supposed to get longer boards over. I don't wanna surf an 11ft swell on a 6'3.

Have phoned jetstar but they just cite regulations. My mate seems to think it will be fine, but you wouldn't want to have to leave a board at Denpasar airport on the way home.
