I paid for my cruises on my Diners in April, we weren't even told the company had folded until we all got to Fremantle port to get on the cruise ship for the 1st trip and the office was closed with a sign on it.
Not only did we all lose our money, there was no ship to take us either, there was never a ship.
Around the world crusies opened up office in Fremantle, advertised in the Sunday paper with a picture of a ship we were to go on, we all booked only to find out no ship, no Around the world cruises either.
Diners would not under any circumstances do a reversal because it was over 3 months since we had paid. I tried Consurmer affairs, tried writing to Diners and to no avail. Maybe it was because it was Diners because Diners is not a credit as such, well ours isn't, it's got unlimited limit which has to be paid at the end of the month.
We Had to go through the whole liquidation process only to be told $2 company with absoultely no assets.
It was only recentley that I threw all the paperwork in the bin.
A lot of Western Australian got had big time.
Me more stupied who booked two trips. We lost thousands of dollars and boy did that leave a bad taste im my mouth.
Indojet have kept this facad going now long enough to empty all accounts without going into liquidation and long enough that liquidators won't be able to retrieve the any of the money either.
It was just a big ploy and you know what I think they have got away with it.
