I was operating Golden Bali & Global Travel in Adelaide at the time of the Air Paradise collapse. Even though I had forwarded monies from clients to the Wholesaler who in turn had issued tickets and on-forwarded payment for these to Air Paradise, as the "initial point of sale" I was considered liable for compensation to clients who had lost-out due to the Air Paradise collapse.
I saw more than AU$60,000 just "disappear" from Golden Bali's Bank Account - taken by Banks/Amex for client refunds.
Air Paradise operated on exceptionally low "advance purchase" fares and in some cases where I was "robbed" by the card providors for client refunds, they had held their tickets/travel documents for up to 6 Months.
I would definitely push your card providers for a reversal to be made.
