What a great informative reply! My daughters are 16 and 14, love shopping, but love the tranquility of the beach etc. I would rather somewhere relaxed, and close to resturants etc, than the noise of Kuta. I guess its only a cheap taxi ride into Kuta for shopping anyway? Please let me know what your family think of both hotels.
