then your best options would be to fly to Darwin in the Northern Territory or to the North of Western Australia.
It is only a very short flight (2 or 2.5 hours I think) to either from Denpasar. Either destination would suit you I think - there is a lot of natural beauty in the NW of WA - after travelling the world I have never seen anywhere more beautiful than the area surrounding the Ningaloo Reef, it will take your breath away. The NW coastline of WA is quite remote & very beautiful. There is a lot to see & do in and around Darwin too. Are you travelling soon? The southern winter is the perfect time to visit as the summer in NW is VERY hot (40 deg plus) and it is the wet season in NT (I'm told the humidity then is almost unbearable!). Ask away, I'm sure there are plenty of Aussies here who will offer advice :o)
