to be affected, and it was clear that Indojet were not going to honour your flight, you should have done this, or at least sought assistance through Consumer Affairs.
The unfortunate thing for most people is that Indojet have continued the line that they intend to resume services, firstly in September, and then after some delay, changed to December.
Their answer to any claimant at the moment is "No, we intend to provide the services paid for AFTER the suspension period, therefore any refunds are not warranted".
Perhaps a "divide and conquer" strategy??
Now the very nasty third party element (Ozjet) have been thrown into the mix to cover for those who are now within the 6 week payment period.
Indojet have been blaming Ozjet for their inability to lease any planes, because Ozjet "would not release the neccessary paperwork".
Now they are not honouring promised refunds, because "Ozjet will not release the money".
The bottom line is that people did not book their travel with Ozjet.
They booked with Indojet.
In my view, Indojet should be forced to pay their creditors and ex customers, even if it means a sell off of company and/or personal assets.
THEY should then worry about getting recompense from their Ex partners Ozjet!!
Now off with the rose coloured glasses.!
