I feel sorry for both parties involved, but if an undertaking was given by Danielle re hubby's acceptance or not, that's where it stands and falls.
Don't wilt under threats, shows she is desperate, nobody REPEAT nobody will be waiting for you at the airport next trip.
I agree with other posters, cancel the card, once no funds are forthcoming they will drop off.
Another lesson learnt......
