I haven't had to claim but always take with me a copy of my credit card statement showing that my travel was paid for on the gold card, an invoice of the payment and the insurance conditions of use. The insurance conditions of use have phone #'s if you need to contact them in case of emergency. I have a St George Gold card and they insure for people under 80 as long as there are no pre exisiting medical conditions.
