Booked and paid for trip thru with Gold Card, had a large theft in Phuket, knew I required a theft report from the local Police for Insurance purposes, but when they "requested" equilivent of Aus$300.00 for an "admin.fee", I landed back in Oz without any paperwork re the loss.

Made a claim, Gold Card underwriters asked and received photographic evidence of the goods stolen, claim was settled within 6 weeks - most impressed !!
